Carbon Blocks are perfect for residential or commercial water treatment systems. Providing excellent removal of lead and cysts, the 1 micron carbon block also performs very well at chlorine odor, taste, and VOC removal from water. The 2.5″ x 10″ model is compatible with BRS RO/DI units and also other standard sizes of RO/DI systems on the market today.The filters are made with activated carbon particles that are fused into a uniform cylindrical block that uses a radial flow design for ultimate absorption and holding characteristics. Block filters have a good pressure drop resistance allowing you to use them until their filtration capacity is reached instead of when they clog. Unlike loose activated carbon cartridges, Matrikx carbon blocks do not channel or bypass because of the uniformity and quality control during the manufacturing process.Features:
